Hi Kelby,

First, WOW girl, you rock! I found your blog via the Blissdom site.

I can relate to all three of Your Words for the new year.

Hmmm.

Mine are:

PASSION – This year I would like to say no to anything that doesn’t inspire me, to give my time instead to things which move me. And this includes saying NO to checking my email for the millionth time and YES to playing Little People with my daughter for the millionth time, because being with my daughter MOVES me, and checking my email does not.

MOMENTUM – I would like to move forward and build on the foundation that I’ve lain over the past few years in all areas: family, frienships, career. Slowly but surely.

FUN – I want to be fun again. I was fun once, wasn’t I? Before I was too busy to be fun? I want my kids / husband / friends / family to say, “That EMILY, her house was a Mess but BOY was she FUN!”

Thanks for the inspiring idea.

Great post! I’m just one of the little people out there in the blogosphere…but this last year was really a learning experience. My 3 words:

Knowledge – It is power. I’m starting my college career in 2 weeks *eek!*, but it’s more than that. I learn through everything I do. Each experience, each success and each fail. I hope to expand on that.

Integrity – I can only control myself, my actions and efforts. Forget the drama. I’m living how I want to be treated and in that respect I treat others the same way.

Healthy – Would I like to have the body I had when I was 19. You bet…but it’s not going to happen. Instead, I’m forgetting that skinny me and focusing on eating and living healthy.

Here’s to 2010…my words are going up on the white board in my office. I’ll have them as a constant reminder all year.
