Hot Tweeter Contest

I love how greeat ideas are born on social networking sites. It’s such a synergy. Sometimes they are brilliant and have a tremendous impact on technology or the environment. And other times they are just slammin’ cool. Like having a Hot Tweeter Contest. Here’s how it went down:

So here it is! A Hot Twitter Contest! Here is what I am thinking the criteria for nominating should be criteria EXCLUSIVE to Twitter. So even if you know someone’s pretty hot on their blog, that doesn’t count. There are some awesome hot blogger contests for that. You should base your nominations on:

1. The Twitter person’s avatar
2. The person’s bio
3. The person’s tweets

That’s it. We’re looking for tweeters who are scorching hot in 48×48. Hey, I think I look pretty hot at that size.

And here are the categories:

• Hottest Tweeter (female)
• Hottest Tweeter (male)

If this catches on, maybe we can later add some fun categories like “most likely to cause a flutter of tweets” or “most likely to diss new followers by not following back” or some other cool stuff.

So nominate away. And I’m thinking writermom had a great idea! Winners will get a Hottest Tweeter bumper sticker courtesy of me. If you want to offer up any other prizes, let me know.
