I can’t really believe I used to live a couple blocks from the Promenade des Anglais in Nice. I can remember going there to people-watch, or to sit along the shore to munch a tasty baguette from the local market.

Our daughter hated (actually, still hates) to sleep. We would take put her in her stroller and walk up and down the Promenade to let the waves lull her into a nap.
