Kelby,

First, THANK YOU for providing an atmosphere that lent itself to open conversation among those who attended. Your flexibility, adaptability, and encouragement to all set the stage for a positive experience.

Thanks, too, for your willingness to provide a stage for a fair number of voices to be heard; even down to the town meeting at the end, everyone had an opportunity to speak publicly, to express personal views, even if they were counter to the person right before you on the mic.

It was a delight to speak on the panels for which I was a part--"Writing with authenticity and passion" put me elbow to elbow with several I admire (and learned from) and speaking on "Balance" with Tara and Melanie? Well, I was stunned at the response to THAT one. Women really are trying to figure out how to do it all, and the truth is, for many of us, something has to give or the entire house of cards will crash. Thanks for not being afraid to let that session be a part of Type-A.

I applaud your effort to lead this diverse group of pioneers; and that you aren't satisfied with th status quo. Elevating the work we're already doing in some way reminds us it's WORTHY, ya know?

Ok...totally didn't mean to hijack your comments! Just wanted to thank you for a job well done. It was the start of something beautiful :).

Even as a non-mom who was along for the ride, and to help out, it was a great experience, and very interesting & fulfilling.

Kudos!
